From a Ticket Star to a Super Star, the journey has not been quite easy. His films, his Punch liners, his dialogue-delivery, his acting skills, his style, his way of walking, his modesty ..all these qualities speaks a lot about the Legendary Super Star…Rajini. He is God to thousands of people in Tamil Nadu. He is their Celluloid diety. Such is the craze for him.

RajinkiKanth… it’s the name as we know him, but to his parents and to his friends, he is Shivajirao Gaekwad, a citizen from Amchi Mumbai. He belongs to a Maharashtrian family. He is Millionaire now, but he wasn't a millionaire by birth. He lost his mother at a very tender age and he struggled a lot in his early age because of poverty. Everytime and everywhere we see the only thing which makes people go round is the five –letter word “MONEY”. Money is everything. If you have money, u can have everything.

Having realized that money plays an important role in those strife-torn days, Rajini started his career doing various jobs in Bangalore. And such one of the various jobs is being a Conductor. The Bus to which he was the conductor was 10, 10A routes. The driver was his friend Bahadur. Its said that both the friends used to have a Gala time when they were on the roads of Bangalore having lots of passengers with them. Although there were many buses in those routes but it was the rajini's bus which used to be with full rush, its because the conductor had his own style of taking money, giving ticket, smoking cigarette.

True Friendship

Its Bahadur’s friendship which means true friendship to rajini. It was one the Bahadur who knew rajini’s desire to act in films and encouraged his friend to pursue his dream. In fact it was bahadur who helped him to go to Chennai and study at the Adyar Film Insititute. Not in one way, but bahadur a true friend helped in many ways. The friendship of bahadur and rajini is not of one or couple of years, it almost 40 years of strongest bond that Rajini and Bahadur are sharing.

The only thing bahadur has to say about his friend is

" Shivaji (as he calls his friend Rajini) has achieved success because he is HARD WORKING. He always thinks about his roles and how to please his fan following. I like the way he dances and fights. Shivaji is compassionate and helpful. His heart bleeds for poor people. I have seen him getting out of his car if he sees an old person on the street and give him thousands of rupees. He does all that silently without anyone knowing. That is his greatness."
